I'm having problems with qt3 settings. I've just upgraded from gutsy to hardy but this problem arose even before then. In fact, it started after upgrading virtualbox (not the OSE version) IIRC.
I've attached a snapshot of a virtualbox window to illustrate. I've also attached a dump of my qtrc file.
I've tried chmod 755 of /etc/qt3 and /etc/qt3/qtrc but that doesn't seem to make any difference. If I run qtconfig it seems to show the font settings are ok, but if I try changing any settings it doesn't save them if I come back next time!
Can anyone help me on where to start solving this. I've googled for qt3 / font / virtualbox etc but haven't found a solution that works. Skype is also affected but haven't so far found any other apps affected.
