Don't misunderstand.
I have a fully working system right now.
It's just I'm going to have a new laptop, see here (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10112036&catid=24193&logon=&langid=EN&MSCSProfile=3C79F0C7EA3162B29078EFCFF8C1FEE5866B52 7903194039BEB9DBE4884D2311E12E1F058BB5C43044927CE2 06723BB8D54CAAAF7C9166FF3EE7AC2AEB9C2403F07313461D B17B9AB624114FA14B53F180FD3B7BCAE9D18D5DDDEA876C40 E9A21EE12B4980FA93FD2B357595360DC7E74FE86FF113B4DC F4).

My current model is a VAIO with about the same INTEL chips.

And I'd like to migrate all my stuff from my VAIO to it with minimum tweaking and package reinstallations.

What should I backup on my current system?
/home?
/usr?
I can forget about all the other folders?
I have vmware installed and a virtual windows system on there too;
Just by copying the /usr, /home with the WINDOWS image to the new system after a basic Hardy installation would give me the same virtual windows back?

Thanks!
