Window list won't flash when urgent

I'm having trouble with my window list on my panel. It's not flashing when there's an application requesting attention, which is really annoying since I always have pidgin on. If it matters, I have compitz set to custom (although really it's just set to high with the added binding of moving the pointer to the upper right corner showing all windows). Also, if it matters, I accidently deleted my lower panel because my touchpad was over sensitive and clicking by itself. I readded it and all of the stuff on it to make it look like default, but the window list isn't behaving normally.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
