My graphics card does not jive well with ubutu 8.10 which is find cause I know how install my video driver from cli(after years of trial and error) but I cant even install ubuntu because the drivers that the ubuntu live cd uses don't work with my nvidia card. When I use Live cd with there products such as partion magic or gparted they give me the option of using vesa drivers which would be great alternative as well.

For my situation I need two solutions to one problem. 1. Tell me how to install ubuntu via cli or 2.how to force the ubuntu livecd to used a different video drivers such as vesa

Have you tried installing using the alternate (http://releases.ubuntu.com/intrepid/) cd which is a text based installer? Or for cli have a look at this:

Yes I have. I hit f4 to look for alternative methods to install ubuntu. Then I selected the other methods and hit enter but there wasnt any difference. I don't think I"m doing something right to use alternative methods. I would like an all text enviroment if I could. Gimme a step process on how to texted installed ubuntu please?
