Hi, whenever I go to try to run the Live CD of Ubuntu, I can mess around on it for a little bit, but then it just freezes and I have to shut off the computer.

This is generally annoying, is there anything I can do?

RAM (but I assume it should have plenty with the new AMD CPU) & monitor. Are you trying to run the 32bit or the 64bit version? And at the first menu, have you tried to run the "Scan CD for Defects" option to make sure everything on the CD is good?

I'm trying to run the 32-bit version, I've burned two disks, and both have reported that there were no problems with the disk.

Yet both completely freeze after about 10 minutes of use.

I tried reverting back to 8.04 and the same results happened, it just freezes after 10 minutes of usage.

I have no idea if this is hardware related because XP works just peachy.
