View Full Version : extremly slow install of world of warcraft how ti fix it?

i downloaded the wotlk from blizzard and started to install it. it has been at 2% for about 5+ hours.. the screen is not frozen so i know it is still working, is there anyway to fix this?

alright it has gone past the 2% but the installer is going extremly slow still... i already have the files on my computer so why would it need to download anything else? its the wotlk installer after the EULA.? if anyone has any infomation or is this step supposed to take 1day+?. or is there a better way to install the game.

..Bump? I am having the exact same problem, the installer is going ridiculously slow. Did you just wait it out or did you find a fix?

bump, i am facing this problem at another game.It takes ages to install :)

Maybe its not a 5+ hours at 2% for me. 66%... :evil:

The blizzard installer has always been slow through WINE.

Just be patient and it will finish.
