View Full Version : [all variants] Installing software in a unattended way

Hi *

I need a application to install software in a network (many many pcs) in a unattended way with ubuntu already installed. The software what I need to install requires some parameters, like passwords, DNS servers, specifics paths and so on.

So, do you know what application can help me?

By the way, I've been googling and I found the concepts of "software distribution" (like M23 [1]) and "deployment software" (like WPKG [2]) but I don't understand them. Can those software help me? I think that those software work to install an OS with software preinstalled and preconfigured.
