8.10 Unable to Read CD

Hello,
I am new to Ubuntu and I an tryng to run the OS from a CD for the first time and am running into a problem.
When I boot from the I get the message unable to read CD and it gives me the option to reboot. This happens after I select the language and presented with a menu with several options. When I try to check the integrity of the CD I also get this message.
I have valided the the hashnumber of the downloaded file and I used ISO recorder v3 to burn the CD.

Any help would be appreacited.

Try using a different burn program like imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com/) and burn at x4 or less.

if you using windows to burn the iso.. use DVDdecrpt..
you can look up a guide on YouTube on how to use the ISO function.
