Stop brightness controll

Hello,

How do I make the brightness control stop appearing every time the power is plugged and unplugged from the laptop?:confused:

If it doesn't stop appearing every few seconds (due to flaky power supply), my wife is going to make me remove Ubuntu from her laptop.

Check: "System -> Preferences -> Power Management".
Go to the "On Battery Power" tab, and uncheck, deselect, disable the option "Reduce backlight brightness".

(Or at least, Ubuntu on her laptop)
