Hi:
I have a Conexant RD02-D400 USB modem that I want to install. Currently I am using Ubuntu server 8.04. I have 4 USB ports on my machine.
I am looking for a 'how-to' that describes how to install it, if I need drivers/where to get them etc, and a description on how to use it. This will all be done from the CL as this is a server and I don't want to install any GUI.
I did google this and I found a thread that talked about building a virtual kernel, had about 20 steps, and this seemed way to convoluted for simply attaching a device to usb port that was already recongnized during the OS install. Any pointers are really appreciated.
