have the new ubuntu and want compiz!

You've already got it. Enable advanced desktop effects in preferences - appearance.

Most likely you already have it installed... but now possibly if you are running on a very old system which does not have much Memory, compiz won't run. but if you have at least 1GB Memory and a reasonable speed CPU, you're all set to go....

Anyone have any luck with the "Animations Add On" ? Seems like some really cool effects like Burn and Beam ..
