New gnome menu bar concept

I was lookin' around gnome-look.org and I came across this new concept for the gnome menu bar, check it out here:

I vote someone gets to work on this right away or let the developers at gnome know about it so they can get to work on it.

I would except I don't yet know How to code. :P

I'm not a fan of it either, it looks too much like KDE.

I like both KDE and Gnome, but I would prefer to keep them seperate entities.

Don't like it at glance, either, but I won't know until I use it.

However, I would rather have a separate "Favorite" tab alongside Applications, Places, and System, and the user can choose to include that Favorite tab or not.

I agree simply awful. The reason I like Gnome is that the interface is so simple and consistent. If you like this kind of thing, you'd probably prefer KDE.

its the applications menu that makes it look bad, but the other screenshots dont look too shabby.

Can't understand why the sub menus should have a smaller font. Needs some brushing up yes, and might have to try it to really test it.

Usually, I'm not into modifying the menu. However, I must admit, I like the way it looks. Agree it needs some enhancement but appears to be a good start. Let us know when you've completed it and I for one will definitely give it a try. Don't be discouraged by those that don't find it attractive. Everyone has their own perceptions and interruptions.
