I have no idea why this has happened... but it is welcome either way. :)
I recently switched back to Ubuntu (I have a habit of switching back and forth between WinXP and Ubuntu... Hopefully this will be the last time that happens.) and I have suddenly noticed a HUGE jump in download speed. I'm currently on a University campus so there has always been a bandwidth surplus (with WinXP I could hit 4mb/s on a good torrent). However, with Ubuntu I can now get upwards of 11mb/s on a well seeded torrent. This blew my mind.
Anyone have any idea why this has happened?
