Cannot find a post relating to this, I noticed on distrowatch that Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 1 was due to be released today.

Is there going to be much difference from the latest to this version?

Big difference in Kubuntu, not much in Ubuntu.

I read somewhere that it may be a bit late and there won't be a CD install of Alpha 1 as it's not ready. If you've downloaded all the updates up to the end of today you have Alpha 1 anyway. When is kernel 2.6.27-9 coming out ? Is this Alpha 1 as I've received a change email for this ?

KDE 4.2 feature freeze. KDE 4.1 is in 8.10.

Last I heard there was problems with the installer but were still hoping to release today, wait and see what happens.
