Hi, I recently build my new desktop with the asus m3n78 pro and amd phenom 9950 140W. I have succesfuly install ubuntu on my macbook pro but when i tried installing ubuntu on my desktop computer it will freeze up at the partition with 0% when it's partitioning. I have tried ubuntu 8.10 and 8.04 32 and 64 and no luck.

I currently have xp 32 bit install on it.
I also have an empty partition with 40GB available.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this one.

Thanks for all your help and support.

Actually, do you recommend this mobo?, cause I'm looking for building a computer.

And sorry about your mouse. I can't help with that one. Good luck fixing it and be careful if some guy tells you to edit your xorg.conf file. That can be dangerous. I know from experience with my Logitech mouse.
