[SOLVED] Reinstalling with Old Home Folder

I'm looking to install Intrepid fresh on a separate hard drive and then transfer my entire home folder over to the new hard drive. Is there any reason I shouldn't go through with this?

There should be no problem doing what you are suggesting. You may have to be root when copying the files, so remember to set the ownership and proper permissions before trying to access the directory.
