Hi! as the title says, nor brasero nor K3B recognise my DVD-RW drive, but the strange thing is that the system does, if i put a cd or a dvd my laptop reads it.. but this burning programs doesn't, in fact it don't even let me select the drive. THE STRANGEST thing is that it works if i run the program in as root!

This is what the console spits when i run it as normal user and root.

Normal User:

Does someone know how to run it ok without being root?

thanks!

PS: Sorry my bad english, i'm from southamerica.

PS2: Solved it running sudo chmod 777 /dev/scd0 but it might be dangerous or not good at all.

PS3: With the solution on PS2 it crashes in the middle of an iso recording, at still not working as it should.

PS4: Fixed it by creating another user, strange thing. Im gonna try if it still works after deleting that new user.
