[SOLVED] Making a complete Ubuntu install DVD from installed Ubuntu on HD

Hello all,

I have an ubuntu 8.04 Desktop LTS Installed on my machine plus a complete array of softwares,movie player,including codecs to play them and so on.Now my question is can i create an install DVD from it so that i can install on other machine and this will play all softwares out of box.Is it possible

Have a look at remastersys (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remastersys)and aptoncd (http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/) may also be of use.

remastersys does the trick - for me ( but i had to install ubiquity, to have it in the livecd)
