Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and trying desparately to get my wireless usb card working. I figure the only to get it going is using ndiswrapper. Following the help..it said to go to Synaptic Package Manager and install ndisgtk. I can't find that in the list anywhere. I have loaded the 2 ndiswrapper files, but still no Wireless Windows driver option to load the driver. What now??

You have to enable the Universe repositories to get ndisgtk

Close Synaptic

Go to System > Administration > Software Sources

Check all the appropriate boxes

Reload when prompted

Go back to Synaptic and search for ndisgtk
