View Full Version : [gnome] Gnome workspace swapping via keyboard

Here's a newbie question that's hopefully easy to answer.

I've set up Gnome to have a 4 by 2 array of workspaces (4 wide, 2 tall). I love this and I know about keyboard shortcuts to switch between them (Ctrl+Alt+arrow to switch workspaces, throw in Shift to drag the current window with you).

Here's the question.

Sometimes when I'm zooming through workspaces, I notice that they've all been shifted one to the left or right, or that the top and bottom rows have been swapped. (This is as if *all* of my windows have moved one workspace left, right, up, or down, with wraparound.) I figure there is some keyboard shortcut to "rotate" the array of workspaces that I hit accidentally. However, since I cannot figure out what it is, it's annoying to get all of my windows back in the right spot. Does anyone know it?

Thanks.
