Hi all,

Am trying to get a trimmed down install of Intrepid on a couple of old (p3-500) compaq PCs - I want to use the command line installation, but when you quit out of the graphic UI for the ANSI text ui, and choose your boot image, "cli" and "cli-expert" don't work.. the other two work fine, just not the "cli" ones..

Has the cli install been phased out?

Cheers,
Brett

You can press F4 and select the Install a command-line system option.

Yep, knew that was the way to do it, but I only had one option, instead of the 4 or so that should come up.. thought I'd burnt the wrong ISO, but I'd definitely burned the alternate one..

anyway, have just burnt another copy of the ISO, and now I can see the cli, ltsp, etc options.. weird!

thanks for your response mate, I appreciate it.
