Hello fellow Ubuntu users.
Unfortunately Ubuntu is not being cooperative with me this release.
Every time I try to boot the LiveCD I get the typical "ISOLINUX" message
before I am quickly taken to what would be the Ubuntu menu.
Unfortunately I am not taken to the menu but instead I get this on my screen (I wrote it all down before posting):

data | prog | 0, drive 9F
: | : |
: | : |
: | : |
: | : |
0: 0.0 | : |
1: 0.0 | : |
2: 0.0 | 0: ffffffff. 5 |
3: 0.0 | 1: 16eC.15 |
-------------------------
err 8
ip 16a3: 10.7

My configuration is an AMD Athlon64 3500+ 2.21 GHz, Nvidia EVGA 7800 GT, 3GB ram and an HP dvd740 DVD-RW drive.

I'm not sure if there is much can be done but I'd appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thanks

I have the same (well, similar) issue on my AspireOne 532h.
Tried the latest Ubuntu and Ubuntu Studio.

Any ideas people?

Also apologies for the necro... couldn't find any other thread relating to this problem.
