[SOLVED] power management

I am running Kubuntu on a Hp laptop, when i booted up today the default power manager was not displaying in the taskbar. It also doesn't change performance levels when i plug it in or run off battery. I am fairly certain i need to re-install it, but i am very new to linux. thanks.

The program is called guidance-power-manager
Just run that and you should be all set. You probably quit it accidentally at some point.
