I am running 8.04 with a static ip address and everything was working fine.

I booted it up today and was prompted to do an update since newer version were avail... I said ok and it connected, downloaded, installed with no errors, and then said I had to reboot.

I rebooted, and now the network is dead... I can't ping anything, everything is unreachable... I looked and of all the network configuration hasn't changed.. I can't figure out why the network is now dead..

Why would a package update do this... aren't they tested ?!!! This really sux...

Any thoughts anyone? I can't find an easy "Rollback" button to undo the packages that were updated.
