Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes.

I did a clean install of 8.10 on my laptop and in my previous build I had a RDP client with a Tux icon that is very similar to the look of windows' mstsc.

I would like to reinstall that client but I forgot the name, does anyone have an idea as to what client I am mentioning? Possibly could someone suggest an alternative?

I have no clue on which exact RDP client you mean. There are a few frontends to "rdesktop". My favorite is tsclient which does look a bit like the windows cousins

"Terminal Server Client"
"Remotedesktop Client"
"Remote Desktop Viewer"
"Gnome-RDP"

puppywhacker, the TSC looks to be the best. None of the others that you mentioned are the ones I had. Thanks, I will be using TSC to do work related things.

Please mark this thread as solved

gnome-rdp is much, much faster than the terminal server client that comes with 8.10.
