I have a Lexmark Z611 and I can't seem to find the driver.. and I've tried installing everything I can find in the Synaptics Manager... I don't know. Any help?

Have a look at this page:

http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-Z611

For a link to where you can download the driver. It is an .rpm so you will need alien to convert it to a .deb

Alien is in the repositories and you can install it using Add/Remove Programs, Synaptic Package Manager and of course the command line.

Have a look at this page for a rpm to deb howto:

Downloaded the file - installed alien - ran the code. Nothing.
