Just started Linux 3 or 4 months ago and love it. My first install Hardy, now Ibex. Installing can be a little buggy; cd read errors constantly; but once things are installed, I just love how my devices simply work, rather than having to go to a website, download an installer for the driver, hit Next 10 times on the installer lol.... And since I already knew what Linux software I like, I could go right to Synaptic, check check check, and ALL of my main software is installed, gotta love it!

Good for you. I'm on my fourth wasted day of trying to get Ubuntu installed, and I have to conclude so far that Ubuntu is the biggest pile of poo that's ever been hyped.

I have never had more than minor issues with Ubuntu. It is much faster, easier and more intuitive than Windows. I am happy to put up with the faults to escape the constant frustration of the MS 'we know what is best for you' attitude.
