View Full Version : [ubuntu] getting wine to run a windows program through applications menu

Hi,is there a way to add windows programs to wine through,the applications menu. ie if i click applications/accessories/notepad, i can run notepad. But is there any way to add more programs to it?

You can add custom laucnhers to menu

When you install a Windows application (exe) Wine will create the menu entries for you.

If you want to add more things to the Applications menu, just right click the word "Applications" and select "Edit Menus"

Thanks, folks.
Edit menus doesn't do it, or at least can't see what away of doing
what I want to do.
ahh, Alacarte is the menu editor.
might try installing a program and see how that works.
