Today I rather foolishly accepted the recommended updates (if it aint broke dont fix it!!) - result I can no longer connect to internet via wireless. (doing so now from another PC)
Is there any way to roll back Ubuntu to a previous state - i.e like windows restore point? This is INSANELY annoying and just the sort of thing to me give up on Ubuntu Linux, which idealogically I dont want to do.
I am running an ACER extensia 5220 laptop and I originally followed instructions at madwifi.org/ticket/1192 to get wi-fi working. Now I have a broken machine - please dont let me revert to ******* !!!
Thanks for any help!
