I've got two data disk DVD +Rs I made as a back up of some files I needed to transfer, the problem is: Windows XP doesn't recognize that there's files on the DVD. It says it's a blank CD. What's strange, though, is in Roxio it sees the volume label and everything, but I cannot access the files.

Is there any way to retrieve these files and copy them to this computer (with XP sp2)?

I was thinking of using some sort of Live CD that allows you to run from RAM like DSL. Then copy and paste?

Any ideas?

Why not create a temp directory in ubuntu and then mount windows and move the files from your DVD to the temp file. Then copy them to windows. I have done it and it worked for me.
