Hi all,
I have been wanting to try Ubuntu Linux for a while now. I have tried to install in on 3 different occasions but just gave up after trying for hours to get my Video Card drivers going. I have a Nvidia 7950GT. I have searched and googled my Brains out. I have tried drivers from Nvidia, Software Packages,EnvyNG, etc. and everytime i reboot i Get a
(EE)NVIDIA(0): Failed to initalize the Nvidia graphics device PCI:2:0:0
(EE)NVIDIA (0) please see the Common Problems section for the README for
(EE)NVIDIA(0): additional information
(EE)NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA praphics device!
(EE)Screen(s) found, but none have a usuable configuration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really would like to resolve this soon.
