I have a laptop with no os, no cd drive, a floppy drive, two usb ports, and i need to install ubuntu. I have 4 1.44MB IBM formatted floppy disks and 1 1GB usb drive. i do not have access to a cd drive that fits (i only have access to one for an IBM thinkpad, and the computer I am trying to install it on is a dell latitude, a newer one.) I have no idea how much RAM it has, but its hard drive has the wrong connectors to be put in the thinkpad. (i hope i explained it better than last time)

Maybe these links help.

https://help.ubuntu.com/8.10/installation-guide/i386/installation-media.html
https://help.ubuntu.com/8.10/installation-guide/i386/boot-usb-files.html#id2632570

p.s. What's up with the large font?
