During my upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid both kprinter and kooka have disappeared.

sudo apt-get install kprinter kooka
Didn't recover them

I was running kde 3 and 4 together on Hardy and if I have read rightly on intrepid kde4 is default. Does that mean kprinter is gone?

I can still print via cups but if I want to do anything sensible via kprinter like print to pdf booklet I'm stuck...

 was upgrdaing to intrepid a bad plan #-o

I'm also wondering about this. I read somewhere that kprinter was gone in KDE 4.0 and supposed to be back in KDE 4.1. I've been printing from Vim through kprinter using this tip (http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Printing_using_kprinter). It no longer works. I've searched a lot, but found no clear answers about kprinter or possible alternatives.
