Everything was working great in Wine. I had Dreamweaver mx2004 and Photoshop 7 running just fine, but then suddenly photoshop 7 would not export to .gif

So I made the decision to remove wine, and this is where my problems started. No matter what I tried after this nothing worked.

I am so keen to use Ubuntu as my main OS, but the Dreamweaver / Photoshop issues crops up time and time again. I tried Gimp I'm not comfortable with it. I tried NVU, I don't like it.

Can you please tell me what versions of Dreamweaver & Photoshop have worked for you in the past using Wine, and have continued to work over and over again without any issues?

the only truely stable way of getting CS3 installed is via a complete winXP/vista install through vmware/virtualbox/qemu. Only this way round can you have proper support for things like wacom tablets ... as far as i'm aware anyway...

IMHO though that's the best way of using the creative suite apps in linux! (i know it's technically still not in linux though lol)
