Potential new ubuntu user here. I want to try it out to see what all the fuss is about :)
Installed ubuntu 8.10 in MS Virtual Server running on Windows Home Server (Server 2003 based). Because of the emulated environment the video resolution of the VM is limited to 800x600. :( Vnc from my XP PC has the same limitation. I want to be able to access the ubuntu desktop from my XP PC but at a higher resolution.
Is there a way to do that using ubuntu of one of it's derivatives?
I've searched here but haven't found anything that seems similar.
