View Full Version : [ubuntu] windows boot menu

Hi all,

I opened the ubuntu 8.10 cd in windows, selected try and then install, i then selected help me do this (or something like that). and it installed ubuntu in the windows dual boot. my cd didnt work, so now i want to remove the ubuntu off the dos boot menu. how do i do this?

i tried searching forums and i found fdisk /mbr...but i dont know what that is and how to use it and whether it is the right thing.

if you installed ubuntu inside of windows, then just got to the control panel, add/remove, and uninstall it like you would any other program you wanted to remove.
