8.10 Weird Install Issue

I installed Intrepid a little bit ago and the install itself went flawlessly. When it came time to reboot, The system couldn't find any boot devices at all. Not only that, but BIOS is no longer recognizing either of my DVD drives. Any Ideas?

what kind of an install was it? upgrade or clean? cd, dvd, or usb?

That sounds like hardware failure, not a problem with the Ubuntu install. Check in your BIOS if devices are present, then diagnose accordingly.
