fresh install, first time ive used 32 bit ubuntu... my main computer is 64.

get this when i do sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted extras.

how do i hit 'ok'?

typing ok isnt it.

typing Ok isnt it.

not q.

not escape.

cant click.

last time i just close the terminal, and that broke the java package install and i used dkpg to maybe kinda sorta fix it... but the VERY first time i went to install restricted extras this came up... wtf?

I think you have to press the right arrow button and it should highlight the OK option with red... my recollection is not too sharp. Then you can hit enter.

If that doesn't work, try the tab button.

oh yeah, alternatively just use synaptic and search for restricted extras. select it and install. Couldn't be simpler.

If you mean the blue screen, hit the right arrow key twice and it should high highlight the the OK 'button' then hit enter/spacebar.
If that doesn't work poke all the arrow keys until the highlight moves :)

Edit: too late
