View Full Version : [gnome] GNOME bar keeps jumping to the left side?

Hi, I have installed Ubuntu Studio 8.10, which uses GNOME 2.24.1 on my Laptop. I made a new panel to put some launchers in and placed it on the right side.

It seemed fine, although it seemed to miss the background image defined by the default theme.

Anyways, I shut down the computer and when I booted it again, the bar was in the left side. I went into it's Properties and tried to switch it to the right side, but no matter what I choose, it kept stuck in the left side, resetting the option in the drop-down menu. If choose Top or Bottom it changes to horizontal, but still staying in the left side.

The only way I can get it to the right side is to expand it, then it will move, and then I can... 'Un-expand' (Sorry, English isn't my native) it again.

Now on every session startup it keeps doing the same thing.
Also, on the reboot, it's background image was back.
