Hi all
I recently upgrade from a fresh hardy install to the new Ibex via software updates. The hardy was a fresh install with no added programs or updates added. Everything loaded ok but when I rebboted the system and selected Ubuntu generic kernel 2.6... I get the ubuntu loading bar and then it stops after about 10% of the graphic bar is coloured. I have to reboot and choose the Ubuntu generic 2.4... and then it loads with apparently all the new ibex features. Will selecting the old kernel stop me using Ibex to the full? How can I get my computer to accept the newest Kernel?

Cheers for any help!
