After installing 8.10, I encountered a few issues, most of which I fixed. One that I simply can't figure out is adding locations to the applications menu. I was always able to do it before but now I can't. As you all know, when you create a launcher, you can specify if its an application, terminal app, or location. I can add applications with no problem to the menu but if I try adding the location nothing shows up. I search my home folder and find that that theres like 10 duplicates of the same location.
Why don't my locations show up? I'm really tired of these small glitches 8.10 has, most of how GNOME was set up in 8.04 was fine.
As a separate question, does anybody else get random crashes in firefox? That too was fine until I updated.
