Basically I want to disable GNOME-Panel. In 8.04 I'd go to System>Preferences>Sessions and click the 'currently running(or something similar)' tab, turn off the panel and hit 'remember.' Now that tab is gone. Was this moved somewhere else?

Check out the Sessions "Options" tab. The button there might be what you're looking for.

That just has the 'Remember current,' and 'Remember on exit' options.

I have a similar issue. I'm looking to create new sessions but the button isn't there.
