Upgrade from 7.10 Gutsy to 8.10 Intrepid

Just wondering if there's a way to update from Gutsy Gibbon directly to Intrepid Ibex so I don't have step through Hardy in the process.

The only way to upgrade is to go 7.10-->8.04-->8.10. It is probably quicker and less problematic to do a clean install of Intrepid. Make sure to backup all your important files first.
