Problematic top panel icons Intrepid

Hi,

I'm running intrepid and the icons in my top panel don't seem to be working right. There is no download identification icon. This existed on the original install but has since disappeared. Also Banshee doesn't produce an icon in the top panel like it should and I am sure this is the same issue.

A slightly different issue is I accidentally removed the icon giving me the network details from the top panel. The only replacement I can see in the add to panel menu is not the same as the one I am use to?

Any help to either of these issues would be great1

Figured it out, just needed a little round thinking. All I did was reset all the settings for the Ubuntu GUI and everything started working again.
