Will upgrading to 8.10 delete my documents

Hello,

If I upgrade to Intrepid via the Internet updater, will I lose my document folders on the Desktop, and e-mails (kmail), etc?

Is it a clean install, or like a patch/update which only changes program files?

I'm keen to click, but thought I should learn first before I learn from a mistake.

everything should be fine. but always back up your data before you attempt an upgrade.

Ubuntu Upgrade 8.10 don't delete any user documents / folders.
