This is fairly straightforward. I am running an eee pc w/o a cd drive, and w/o an external one. How do i burn a .iso to an sd card? Windows or linux software will do fine.

I know it says for USB Stick, but the logic is sound for SD-MMC cards. You might want to check out one of the Eee Ubuntu projects. This one looks promising:

Did you get the Eee at Best Buy today? I just picked one up for my daughter for Christmas. Since its her computer I'm letting her make the decision to wipe/reinstall it, but I'll be curious as to how it goes. Keep me posted please!

I more or less gave up and had a more experienced friend put ubuntu eee on a usb drive. Very nice OS.
