im really wana see if i can get my parents to change out isp, right now, im stuck with aol. and i didnt mind to much, untill they started limiting my torrent trafic, so i can only download them at night. currently we are paying £25 for 1mb down/0.25mb up, unlimited bandwith and i really wana change

i live in the uk
want faster speeds
no bandwith caps
and be able to download torrent trafic when i want to

Check out Azureus's List of Bad ISP (http://azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs)

Now check out SpeedTest.net (http://www.speedtest.net/)'s Global Stat (http://www.speedtest.net/global.php), and compare the Speeds of different ISP.

First thing to do is check on SamKnows (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/search.php) to see what's available on the exchange, also find out if you can get Virgin Cable.

If you can't get any of the unbundled options (e.g. Be) or Virgin Cable, then probably the best ADSL Max ISP would be an EntaNet re-seller, like UKFSN (http://www.ukfsn.org/home/internet/adsl/maxallowance.html).
