Well, this is my first attempt at installing ubuntu.
I tried 8.10 server and have problems with wired network. It doesn't work. I want to go to 8.04 lts server. It seems to be more stable and documenation exsits for it.
How do I install 8.04 in the 8.10 partition? Is there anything I need to do with GRUB? How does the 8.10 boot option get removed from GRUB? I dual boot visita at this point.
All help is appreciated.
