How does MS Money go about syncing up with your online bank account? is it comparable to the features the linux friendly apps talk about like GnuCash or MoneyDance? Does MS Money use OFX, QFX and QIF files?

I just don't want to have to do anything to have it sync with my bank account. I just want to start up whatever software I choose and have it sync up. MoneyDance looks pretty promising. Any thoughts?

No clue about MS money, but gnucash can accept the quicken format, so it is compatibel with banks that are compatible with quicken. I would assume that MS money uses something similar. You may want to pick a software and search for its capabilities with your particular bank. If you are migrating from MS Money, that would be the bigger issue as far as importing your finance files from Money to the software you choose.

The copy of MSMONEY 2005 I have supports OFX, but an older copy doesn't. If it's a fairly recent version there shouldn't be any problems.
