I've been trying to install Kubuntu 8.10 from alternate cd. Everything goes fine (language, keyboard, partitioning), setup starts copying files but then it asks to insert "Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex" cd (or something like that, I don't remember exact message). After pressing ENTER, the same message keeps popping up, so the installation cannot finish. I thought that 'alternate install' cd was sufficient for installation - am I incorrect or is there something wrong? Thanks for any help.

I believe that there is a bug in the alternate installer as I ran into the same thing. I just restarted the installation from scratch and it installed like it is supposed to.
